Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Opens Two New Dental Implant Surgeries

On Monday 8th May two new surgeries, exclusively dedicated to implant dentistry, opened at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Thanks to a major financial contribution from Astra Tech, both surgeries are fully equipped and will be known as Astra Tech Dental Implant Surgeries 1 and 2.

A superb panoramic view of the Thames and Central London is a feature of one of the new surgeries, helping to create a relaxing environment for staff and patients alike.
The new surgeries will form an integral part of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust teaching and clinical facilities, complementing the existing, state-of-the-art Clinical Skills Laboratory. The Laboratory enables 60 students to be taught simultaneously from a central computer console linked to independent workstation monitors.

It is confidently anticipated that the Astra Tech Dental Implant Surgeries will play a major role in implant training at all levels for many years to come.
